The Unifying Center is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to the emotional health and well-being of men and boys across the globe. Our mission is to improve the gender-based, mental health care of men and boys, with a special focus on healing men and boys that have been impacted by some type of trauma or abuse. Central to our work is recognizing the impact contemporary masculinities have on men’s health, identity development, certain behaviors and interpersonal relationships.

This mission is provided through advocacy, primary prevention education, professional trainings and program development. Our programs are holistic and take a biological, psychological, socio-cultural and spiritual approach to healing and wellness. We advocate for and are committed to the integration of social justice (gender) and public health (mental health) theories in the delivery of this work across various systems, communities and societies.

We form collaborative partnerships with others who share in this paradigm as a way to create positive changes for the greater health, safety and well-being of all.
